In 2020, due to the pandemic, we canceled the in-person U.S. immersion program and launched private online English lessons. We invited local American teachers and used Time for Kids as the textbook. The program guided elementary and middle school students from China and Japan in reading English current events, helping them stay updated with the latest child-friendly information. Students practiced English speaking and listening skills, strengthened their reading abilities and vocabulary, and improved their writing through homework assignments after class.
